Cell Technology was further expanded to be a network & security technology provider with her own R&D team and patented technology to design, develop and deliver innovative and intelligent IP packet processing platform into software and hardware appliances to ICT industry in Asia Pacific and extend to worldwide market. With support of the Hong Kong SAR government's Innovation & Technology Fund (ITF) in late 2007, Cell has continuously designed and developed her own custom kernel system with network layer applications to optimize the IP network performance, secure the network security and resiliency, manage the qualify of IP services, and provide complete service management to address the fast changing and competitive of the IP technology in the Internet industry.
Cell has launched her numbers of networking & security products such as Cell Intrusion Prevention System (IPS), Cell Unified Threat Management (UTM), Cell Janus (a Multi-WAN service gateway), Cell Traffic Management System (TMS), Cell NetsVision, intelligent Centralized Management System (iCMS) platform, Cell NetsAccess solution and etc selling into the ICT market through distributors, resellers, Value-Added Resellers (VAR) and system integrators in Asia Pacific.
Cell has established a Security Service Centre (SSC) to support our strategic global partners or customers for automatic security signature update and remote non-stop monitoring service. Cell has also launched an On-Line Technical Assistance Centre (e-TAC) in late 2008 to provide professional support and service to our global partners or direct customers through an online help desk via internet access to 24-hour-a-day, 7-day-a-week technical support to address any customers service expectation on a global basis.
Cell Technology was reformed from a network consulting provider to a network product technology company. Cell targeted to develop and market her own brand of networking product solution to Information & Communication Technology (ICT) sectors in Asia Pacific. Cell marketed and delivered her network & security product solutions – Cell Intrusion Detection System (IDS), Cell Security Patch Management (SPM), Cell Centralized security Management Centre CMC) to enterprises and service providers in Asia Pacific major to Taiwan, Japan and SEA countries.
Cell Technology was privately held and headquartered at Hong Kong SAR. In early stage, Cell focused on telecommunication network consultancy, design, support and engineering services to clients. Numbers of telecommunication business, marketing and networking technology training programs were launched to the market. With field experience and expertise on network & security technology and technical know-how, Cell also provided network security consultancy services and implementations to enterprises in Asia Pacific. A typical successful reference was a Security Operation Centre (SOC) network with Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) service model was designed and implemented by Cell for a large regional networking company in Japan.
